Still Fabulous is a charity thrift store operated by the Auxiliaries to BC Children’s and BC Women’s Hospitals. Through our shops, we raise funds to support the care of women, children, and youth at BC Children’s and BC Women’s Hospitals. This fall, we will be supporting at-risk children and youth and our community through two charity events.

Still Fabulous is partnering the Vancouver Community College (VCC) Fashion Program to support an event in collaboration with the Downtown Eastside’s Women Centre (DEWC). HerStory In Focus is a fashion show during Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW). The women of the DEWC will be walking the runway wearing clothing donated by Still Fabulous and reimagined by VCC’s Fashion students. The show highlights the empowerment of the women through an inspiring fashion show while raising support and funds for DEWC’s ongoing work. Still Fabulous donated fifteen outfits for the women to wear during the event.

We are also proud to partner with The Little Black Dress Gala, supporting youth and women, with proceeds going to support Help Change My City. For this event, Still Fabulous has donated twenty, good quality, little black dresses and shoes that will be worn by women in need during the event. Additionally, we will be transforming our Commercial Drive Window in support of the Little Black Dress Gala for the month leading up to their event, to raise awareness and show our support.

Still Fabulous is a thrift shop operated by the volunteers of the Auxiliary to BC Children’s Hospital and the Auxiliary to BC Women’s Hospital, designed to raise funds for patient support services, programs, and equipment. Still Fabulous specializes in high-quality men’s, women’s & children’s clothing and accessories. Still Fabulous provides:

  • A place where clothing can be reused and recycled;
  • A place for the community to gather, shop and share;
  • Clean stores with quality merchandise;
  • A connection between BCCH and BCWH and the community; and
  • A positive and respectful place for our volunteers, customers, and staff.
